Responsibilities:
- Install fixtures, including cabinets, hardware , and countertops. Install all millworks including but not limited to; doors, base, case, shelves, crown moulding, etc.
- Great communication skills and ability to work well with others in a timely manner.
- Use hand tools to measure, cut, and shape materials.
- Collaborate with other carpenters and construction professionals on projects to stay on schedule.
- Have a valid drivers license and be able to pass initial drug test and maintain regular random drug testing.
Skills/Experience :
- Understanding of millworks, cabinet assembly and installation, and countertop assembly and installation.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools used in carpentry work.
- Working knowledge of laminate, edge banding, and pre-finished material is preferential but not required.
- Experience with large mechanical machinery and electronic machinery. I.E. - (Planer/Moulder, CNC, edgebander).
- Familiarity with basic milling equipment I.E. - (miter saw, table saw, sanders).
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in carpentry work.
- Good problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during on site install and in shop assembly.
